Review of The Emoji Movie (2017) by Weed M — 27 Jul 2017
As I struggled to carry my medium sized popcorn on my left hand and my oversized iPhone on my right, the dread of sitting in a overcrowded theater room started to settle in.
More so because the movie I was going to see did not interest me at all.
But that all faded once I came out with a new found hope in life.
Joy, anger, despair, and every other emotion under the sun were felt during those profound 86 minutes.
I experienced the sorrow that Gene felt throughout the film.
I was captivated by the sheer fearlessness that Jailbreak showed.
I fell in love with the childlike innocence that lived inside of Hi-5.
This is a true hidden gem disguised as a children's film that will surely become a cult classic in the coming years.
