Review of The Emerald Forest (1985) by Hank V — 19 Feb 2007
Based on a true story, this is STILL a powerfully-moving film! This is probably the most realistic portrayal of native-life I've ever seen: It isn't overly romanticized, which makes its message even more powerful.
It's an incredibly well-done film. Don't miss it. Be warned that it is violent, but that violence is intentional, acting as a grand metophor. What an amazing story!
