Review of The Elephant Man (1980) by Karin H — 03 Sep 2010
Actually quite a simple story but it touched me very very deeply. It had its extreme ups and its extreme downs. For me the downs prevailed and it left me with a very bad feeling in the end. Very nice (and actually sad) to see that the story is very much a like the real story.
They changed the bit about his mum which turned out to be a good choice because the keeping in the middle of whether miss Kendal was is mother or not was a very strong point of the movie.
