Review of The Elephant Man (1980) by Kenneth L — 16 Jul 2010
"The Elephant Man" is a heavy '80s period piece set in the scope of Victorian England. David Lynch's numbing fiction weds cinematic lines beyond story-telling and visionary art and camera direction, but paying homage to the seriousness of something so dangerously silly.
"The Elephant Man" is a fatal attraction not amongst men, yet between the boundaries of dissimilar attraction itself.
