Review of The Elephant Man (1980) by Alan V — 09 Jan 2009
Very moving, makes you wish wou were either a monster or a gentleman. The musical theme is haunting. Filming it in B&W seemed like a bizarre decision at first, but come to think about it, the monster might have been just a bit too monstrous in full color, and this is not meant to be an horror movie but a human, very human drama.
