Review of The Eiger Sanction (1975) by Alexandre S — 12 Jul 2008
I watched this because, well, who can resist the idea of Clint Eastwood as a Professor of Art History (called Hemlock!) and collector of Matisses and Cezannes who finances his collection by working occasionally as a professional assassin hired by the government? And, oh, his boss is a former Nazi albino who lives in a darkened room underground and is constantly insulted by Hemlock.
C'mon! It had to be great! Nevertheless, it was crap.
