Review of The Eichmann Show (2015) by Stuart M — 04 Aug 2016
A must-see. Some criticise that the complexity of the elements of this particular period of history should not be made into this type of a movie - why not??? Watch for those arrogant as well as "too artistic" reviewers who are trying to comment for the sake of showing off their unconventional thought process, self-.
Portraying that they are the most credible source of information.
It is a good film. It's not too long and not too short. Its foundation is based on a good concept to use a bit of a different plot (still based on a true story) to get the audience interested in a very important period in our history. Some real footage has been used, which has added to the authenticity of the presented issues. Interesting, easy to follow, trigerring existential thoughts, moving, pulling out deepest emotions, showing an authentic side to the psychopathic mind, with some good acting.
In the realm of this decade's popular cinematography where a lot of fictional with weak plots films gain 90% of the positive votes, this film should be seen as a priority. I'd be surprised if there was one person that would walk out without contemplating on the aspects of psychopathy, empathy and human race. And that's what films should do - trigger such thoughts. There is no doubt this one does.
