Review of The Edukators (2004) by Jonathan A — 08 Jun 2010
Interesting story about social-reform revolutionary youth in Germany who endure a test of morality when they find themselves unintentionally holding one of their victims hostage. Great acting from the young cast, with a story that holds interest up until the second act when it delves into preachy philosophizing and catty melodrama.
It's a shame, 'cause it almost feels like two films rolled into one, but where the first half is actually the more entertaining of the two. Still enjoyable, to say the least.
