Review of The Education of Charlie Banks (2007) by Fred R — 16 May 2009
The movie wasn't great and it wasn't awful. It held my interest. Tellingly, characters in the film make several references to French philosopher Jacques Derrida and deconstruction. I say tellingly because when I tried to analyze the film for its underlying truth I came up with different messages and meanings which all end in saying nothing, much like my review.
