Review of The Education of Charlie Banks (2007) by Dickie L — 09 Jun 2009
Not a bad debut effort by Fred Durst. There's no escaping that this feels like a telemovie. I saw it on cable and quite liked it, but would've been underwhelmed if I'd seen it at the cinema.
Not a lot of visual or aural flare going on here. There are however some interesting moral dilemmas at play and the characters and story go in unexpected directions at times. A reasonably satisfying experience.
