Review of The Education of Charlie Banks (2007) by Richard H — 03 Nov 2009

I was interested in this movie until I saw Fred Durst's name in the director's slot. the writing was way too uppity but the directing was surprisingly well done for a moron. the movie seemed to be promising drama that never delivered...ie, music of impending doom at the wrong times.

I wasn't very entertained by this movie but I did enjoy the acting from jesse eisenberg and jason ritter. jason ritter appears to be a very versatile actor. in this movie he channeled james franco nicely but was a completely different and convincing character in good dick.
