This film sent a message of mixed moral. For the most part I didn't really understand what these rich kid's actual PROBLEM was. In order to tell a story one must write the characters in a way to where the audience gives a flying fuck about them. You're a rich kid in an ivy League school. O my miserable life? Why can't you get laid if you're a rich kid. Why are you having social problems if you are a rich kid......

The main character was pretty much a spaz. His roomate was kind of a pussy/prick but a cool pussy/prick.

Eva Amurri's character really wasn't anything special, just a spoiled rich kid who lead the main character on and was fucking one of his friends.

The only interesting character was the one that they were TRYING to push as the bad guy when he was actually RIGHT throughout the whole movie.

Beating up 2 guys who picked a fight is not really a bad thing.

Beating up Sebastian Stan's character because he decieved a dorky girl over a key and costed her her job and her financial aid was wrong?

I mean the guy deserved to get his ass whipped. I didn't understand why they depicted that as bad.

All the females in the movie were very mean spirited and shallow which made them extremely unattractive when it comes down to carrying a role in a movie and being the ONLY females in the forefront.

Honestly the nerdy chick with braces who the flambouyant guy decieved was more beautiful than any other female in the film personality wise.

I honestly don't understand what demographic this film was speaking to but the moral of the story was backwards.

1) it's okay to snitch on somebody.

2) it's cool to be somebody's friend and then set them up later.

3) it's okay to shit on people of lesser income??? IDK.

I'm surprised Fred Durst put his name on something like this. Especially coming from a guy who at one point in his career wanted to rhyme and be all about hiphop and collab with Method Man and all that in an era when it was cool to know black guys.

I wouldn't expect an aristocratic borderline racist or classist film coming from a guy like that but you know what they say about some rich kids. As soon as they get tired of being "black" they show their true colors.....
