I adore this film. I've seen tons coming-of-age movies in the last few years, and I'm happy to report that this is one of the better and smarter ones. It is sweet, honest, charming and totally irresistible.
It made me smile, it made me laugh, and it moved me so much that I wanted to hug my invisible best friend next to me. This is an instant classic and will be hailed as one of the best coming-of-age movies of all time.
"The Edge of Seventeen" beautifully captures a lonely teenager's awkwardness and longing for love and acceptance through laughs. It's great.
