Kelly Fremon Craig's 'The Edge of Seventeen' (2016) is a surprising treat. Honest, tightly scripted, and funny, 'The Edge of Seventeen' is like a John Hughes film for the 2010s. I hadn't watched a single piece of promotion for this film, but I took a chance and was rewarded with this cinematic gem.
