It's a 'growing up' movie set in 2016!..and there are a 'lot' of changes and add that up with a whirlwind of hormones... You get it. ... Anyhoo.. So, the movie comes with all the clichés of the genre.
But the genuine performances from the leads especially Hailey and woody, and some honest observations about female-adolescence keeps it above all those tick-the-box movies that we are really bored of.
