Review of The Edge of Seventeen (2016) by Theresa M — 10 Feb 2017
It's definitely not a ground breaking oscar winning film, but it really feels like real life and I think that what makes it such a pleasure to watch. While maybe your best friend since childhood dating your brother isn't exactly something that happens in everyday life, it was a relatable story.
It reminds me of when people talk about how high school is such a small part of life and to not get caught up in it, because life will get better. That embarrassing text you sent to your crush won't matter when high school is over.
I didn't know Hailee Steinfeld was acting also, but she did a really good job in this movie.
