Review of The Edge of Seventeen (2016) by Yash B — 13 Apr 2017

This is the type of coming of age movie that teens of today's age or the last few years should really connect with. I thought it was a movie that was funny in places and genuinely tender as well. I really enjoyed all of the performances in this movie but Hailee Steinfeld and Woody Harrelson are for sure the two who stand out.

The exchanges of dialogue among these two characters were very entertaining. The movie is a simple one and this type of story has been told before but overall it is original due to the razor sharp writing and great performances.
