Review of The Edge of Seventeen (2016) by Nik S — 19 Jan 2018
It's an instant classic. Although there are many movies based on a teen's life, there isn't a film that pulls off acting like Hailed Steinfield's. Also, the setting of the film is beautiful;It's like a place where you would want to live.
The cinematography is great as well with excellent shots of the setting and the quality of it. My final point about the film is about the story itself. There isn't a movie alive that talks about the struggles of a teen having to go through a life without a parent and talking about their lives that are different from most teens and trying to explore life as a teen simultaneously.
