Review of The Edge of Seventeen (2016) by Richard D — 24 Feb 2017
A very well done coming of age movie that has a nice build up and a satisfying ending. It's sweet, in a way, and at the same time deals with rawer emotions of teenage angst and anxiety. The main character is sometimes likeable and sometimes not, as teenagers are.
Woody Harrelson is excellent as the, seemingly uncaring, but involved teacher. All in all, not world-shocking, but very well done and enjoyable throughout.
