Review of The Edge of Love (2008) by Johnny R — 29 Jun 2008
A stunningly lensed account of the complicated love lives of poet Dylan Thomas, his wife, his childhood sweetheart and her Officer beau set between war-torn London and the sleepy Welsh coast. Kiera Knightly impresses not only with her thesping but with a fine set of pipes as she sings her way through the early stages and Sienna Miller is equally effective in her role as best friend/love rival.
Ethereal at times, brutal at others, thought-provoking throughout. Good stuff.
