Review of The Edge of Love (2008) by Elliebob D — 18 Jul 2008
I didn't really like anything about this film besides the production design and the casting (although Sienna Miller is a bad choice for any film). The characters are all disgusting with Cillian Murphy the only person in the film with somewhat of a conscience.
Story-wise it just views like a boring autobiography that really leaves you less informed about its subject than before you watched it. And as a sidenote, I don't think any film has as many people smoking in it than this.
It's literally 2 hours of talking heads who light cigarettes as if its the only action they're capable of. Uninteresting and boring.
