The film competed for Oscar in the documentary category, however, it would have better chances if it competes in the category of fiction. It does not reflect an extremely drastic process that the country has gone through, fighting the largest criminal organization it has ever had.
It shows, in fact, a frustrated girl, seeing the dreams that her mother sold her, not resisting reality.
