Review of The Edge (1997) by Terry M — 20 Oct 2007
Why do people die in the wilderness? - They die of shame. - When they realise what they did wrong. The answer is: they didnâ??t think.
Impressing is the episode when the rich guy killed the grizzly, making himself a bate, and letting the animal go for him while he let the wooden hand made spear go through it's body by the law of gravity.
Interesting is the dialogue following the episode when that same guy got his "friend" out of the bear trap. The friend thought it was his leg that was punctured - he was weary, didn't realise - it was an other leg... He had been after his wife all from the beginning. But Anthony Hopkins, at the end didnâ??t tell. He said. They saved my life. (The two other friends who got killed).
