Review of The Edge (1997) by Erik G — 20 Oct 2009
A great movie that has just slipped through the cracks for no real good reason. Great performances by Hopkins, Baldwin, and Bart the Bear. Excellent score by Jerry Goldsmith. A stark and beautiful setting.
And above all, David Mamet's script. It's about a billionaire and a photographer chased through the forest by a bear. It's about what makes us human. What one man can do another can do.
