Review of The Edge (1997) by Allan C — 08 Apr 2016
This film should have been called "What are we going to do Charles"? The dialogue for the entire film consists of Baldwin and a bear malled LQ Jones asking Hopkins questions that a 6 year old would ask of a parent.
Aside from the surprising lame script from Mamet, it's always nice to watch a controlled Sir Anthony Hopkins performance and a heart on the sleeve Baldwin giving it his all. Nothing like getting stranded in the Alaskan wilderness and surviving a man eating to bear to give you a little perspective.
