Review of The East (2013) by Walter M — 15 Jun 2013
I thought another pretentious Brit Marling indie with a script for teenagers, but apparently they learned their parts. Much more convincing then the first two "Sound of my Voice" and "Another Earth".
Still a shameless Brit Marling vehicle, written for her, and she's super smart, pretty and the hero again. But I'm not opposed to such vehicles per se, even with indies. She's worth the hype they are celebrating.
