Review of The East (2013) by Jamie C — 05 Oct 2013
Ridley (and Tony) Scott produced this little jewel, much better than those directed by him lately. The story is really good and involving, maybe a little too optimistic, with a kind of fairy tale ending that's not too realistic; directing is straight and acting is above the medium level: Ellen Page is superb and Alexander Skarsgard has proved many times that he's not only a great vampire.
I wonder why I've never seen it in theater in my country.... but those are business rules unfortunately.
