Review of The Eagle Has Landed (1976) by Ratnakar S — 05 Jan 2011
An old fashioned World War II adventure, worth a watch, if not for anything just for the fact that this has the Nazis as the heroes for a change( they still die in the end though). The plot to kidnap Churchill to end the War is quite audacious.
What also works for the movie are some excellent performances by Michael Caine, Robert Duvall, Donald Sutherland.
