Review of The Dust of Time (2008) by Lilian W — 09 Aug 2010
My least favorite film by Angelopolous and yet there were some great things there; the great cinematography I came to except from this magnificent artist, a wonderful performance from Bruno Ganz and more surprisingly, from Irene Jacob, who proved she's not just an angelic pretty face; but the thing I liked the most was how he used a high-sensitivity film to make the grains appear like dust throughout the film.
The weakest point for me was William Dafoe.
