I remember the television show as a kid. It was one of my favorites growing up. But this film was a different take on the show. We still get all the same characters with Bo, Luke, Daisy, Uncle Jessy, Boss Hogg and Sheriff Roscoe P.
Coltrane. Plus we get the General Lee doing tons of car stunts and chase scenes. What I expected going in. The film is updated for a new generation. Full of nudity and violence compared to the show. Jessica Simpson in her cut off shorts was a nice choice for the role as Daisy.
Johnny Knoxville and Sean William Scott were funny as Bo and Luke Duke. Burt Reynolds was actually a really good Boss Hogg. The film is just for pure entertainment popcorn fun.
