Review of The DUFF (2015) by Alison S — 06 Mar 2015
Whitman was funny and clever, in the sassy Juno (Ellen Page) style. Some parts were laugh out loud funny. But most characters were such caricatures that no one was very likable. Add to that the fact that The Duff tried very hard to return to the teen skank of the 80s that it left real teen conversation behind.
Meh.
