This was pretty funny and Mae Whitman is very appealing. Her chemistry with Robbie Amell is great. However, it is not nearly as good as the book. It just doesn't explore the relationship between Bianca and Wesley as well as the book.
This is understandable because if they put the amount of sex that is in the book, it would probably be rated R instead of PG-13. Beyond that, though, they do not explore their relationships with their parents as much and in Bianca's case, it is changed entirely.
