The debut film (for full length) for Ridley Scott, based on the book "The Duellists" by Joseph Conrad and which is built on a actual facts.
The story goes, two officer's in Napoleon's army confront each other in a series of duels for a period of 15 year's.
The film revolve around the theme of honour.
The movie is a visual feast as all Rildey Scott's films are, god acting,directing etc , the only down is some wooden dialog/acting but as a whole it is a well worth seen little known movie. See it!
