Review of The Drowning Pool (1975) by Tim H — 22 Dec 2007
The sequel to 1966's Harper, this thriller from 1975 is an extremely average affair, so much so that there's barely anything thrilling about it. Paul Newman is okay in his role, but by his standards it's a below-par performance.
Maybe he was as bored by the film as audiences ended up being.
