Review of The Drop (2014) by Drb — 07 May 2015
There is an acronym I like to use for films like this, it is PLF. This stands for "Perfect Little FIlm", and, it is. There is not a wasted moment, it is edited to perfection. The performances are nuanced, gritty, clean, realistic.
I highly recommend it, as a film lover, and as a lifelong New Yorker. Quietly superb.
