Review of The Drop (2014) by Ben D — 18 Nov 2014
A smart but slow script with some overly cliché moments. The film is overall enjoyable but leaves no lasting impression. Tom Hardy, James Gandolfini are as fantastic as expected but the real surprise gem is Matthias Schoenaerts.
My main issue with the film? The principle characters are way too pretty to be completely convincing.
