Review of The Drop (2014) by Hrant B — 11 Jun 2017
The Drop was legendary actor James Gandolfini's last movie which is another mob movie. The main character is played by Tom Hardy who plays a bartender who is always quiet and no one expects he would do anything wrong.
The script was strong but it played out very slow, it all takes place at a bar chosen to be a money drop location for the mob where Gandolfini puts into play to steal from his own bar but the money does not belong to him.
Overall it was a good movie.
