Very promising director Michael R. Roskam has confirmed his quality standards with this film. Manages to receive great performances from all main actors/actresses and along with the great photography, he creates a seductive neo-noir atmosphere.
Only if the pacing had been sharper, then we'd have the crime drama of the year. What else apart from R.I.P. James Gandolfini.
