Tom Hardy, the chameleon actor, inspires stark concentration yet again in this tense, unorthodox crime film. Every actor is great in the film, like the late James Gandolfini, Noomi Rapace and Matthias Schoenaerts, reunited with director Michael Roskam for another film that examines the knack some people develop for violence.
