"The Dressmaker" is a mediocre film rich with emotion and a great soundtrack. however; towards the end it begins to degrade in quality with music being in places where it feels like it doesn't belong; camerawork becomes sloppy; and finally, it takes a completely different direction.
I must be honest though, if you can get past all of that, you will be welcomed with Kate Winslet's devoted performance, a great script and a package of entertainment. Sadly, that wasn't enough to save this film from being just plain odd.
Still, it had potential.
