Review of The Double Life of Véronique (1991) by Douglas P — 16 Dec 2009
A gorgeous Kieslowski film, as usual. Not his best: a little overwrought at times, and occasional slow pacing. But the intricacy of the story, the score and the cinematography are all amazing. This feels like the warm-up run for Les Trois Coleurs.
