Review of The Double Life of Véronique (1991) by Jacob G — 11 Sep 2011
Beautiful moments off-set some general plot confusion. While the film is about two different women, it is the second who gets the lion's share of the screen-time. As such there is a sense of disjointed inconsistency.
Still, it is handled relatively capably by Kieslowski--with most directors this would have turned into a train wreck.
