(2011) The Double.
THRILLER.
Richard Gere stars as Paul who was supposed to be a retired C.I.A. agent. He then gets called up again by Tom the person in charge of CIA played by Martin Sheen because of finding out that some of his old foes who are supposed to be dead are still alive and are hiding somewhere in the United States. At the same time, he is then forced to be partners with Ben who works for the F.B.I. unbeknowist that both have more in common with one another. this is one of those films where the bad is not so bad and the good is not that bad. The movie starts out well, but the center was extremely boring with a boring chase scene done a hundred times better, topping it off with an unpredictable conclusion because of the revelations. I would not pay 5 dolllars to see this but will say that it's a good enough rental since the production standards are not as high as Geres other films.
2.5 out of 4.
