Review of The Doors (1991) by Nick S — 15 Oct 2009
One of the few films that I like Val Kilmer and Meg Ryan in. I thought Kilmers portrayal of Jim was convincing, but there was something missing with regards to the dialogue and the character development. Felt kind of touch and go. A lot of lag spots in the movie too.
The cast seems like a "where are they now" 18 years later. Val Kilmer seems to be sifting into the made for blockbuster films, Michael Madsens career is mirroring Tom Sizemores, where is Kyle MacLachlan? and Meg Ryan, well that's obvious.
