Review of The Doors (1991) by Charles James I — 09 Jan 2011
Possibly Val Kilmer's best performance. During some of the songs you could be mistaken for actually thinking it is Jim Morrison on stage. The film takes us through Morrison's life starting as a student and how he evolved into one of the most controversial rock stars ever.
It is psychedelic and chaotic as was Jim's battles with drugs, fame and his inner self. A great soundtrack aswell of course.
