Review of The Doors (1991) by Josh G — 16 Dec 2012
A good musical experience, but it's too bad that it exaggerates so much of the story about the legendary rock band. Though I can appreciate concert sequences, in this movie some of them drag on for too long.
However, what saves this movie is Val Kilmer's performance as Jim Morrison. Many people say that Jim Morrison wasn't like that, but let me put it this way, Kilmer was great at the role that was written.
Another issue with this film is that it tends to worship its main character too much.
