Review of The Doors (1991) by William M — 05 Aug 2008
Oliver Stone once again visits the 1960's in this bio-pic about one of rock music's most charismatic leading men. Val Kilmer gives a stellar performance as the self-destructive Jim Morrison and is provided solid back up from the likes of Meg Ryan, Kyle MacLachlan, Kevin Dillon & Frank Whaley.
Stone is able to successfully evoke the look and feel of this period and combined with great music (from "The Doors" of course!), this film is well worth checking out.
