The Doors had some good songs but the lion's share was pretentious in the most boring, unbearable way. I think of them as as a cheesier, L.A. version of the Velvet Underground. Morrison was just some drunk prick, not particularly talented.
This movie should have been a comedy starring Will Ferrell as Morrison.
