Review of The Doors (1991) by David C — 28 Jun 2009
I really liked this movie, all though that doest make it good, well I mean it had great things about it but it wasnt a masterpeice or anything. val kilmer sounded and acted like jim morrision completley, mostlikely his best role ever, he captured the essence of jim morrison and even when you though he couldnt go that far he did.
oliver stone seemed to be cocky wiht the movie as writting and directing, I think it needed that though since the doors were queit cocky themselfs. some parts it seemed that stone was stoned himself well writting and directing.
meg ryan did a great job as well. the music aspect was amazing I thought that they played the music to the movie as well as to morrisons life with each shot as if the music was morrisons soundtrack to life.
this was a great movie.
