Review of The Door in the Floor (2004) by Belinda H — 15 Jun 2008
A tragic film, however it does not get overwhelmed with it's tragedy as Bridge's provides a great deal of comedic relief. While I did not always agree with the actions of Bassinger's character in the second part of the film, I understood them and sympathized, which impressed me.
Ellie Fanning totally stole this movie for me though. It's one of those movies that can be described effectively as beautiful.
